(Some of) Our Placer Claims For Sale

The Cariboo

The Cariboo is the richest and most famous placer area in BC, with a huge number of gold bearing creeks. It includes the area east of the city of Quesnel, south of Prince George and north of Kamloops, and it includes the lengthy stretch of the Fraser River in this region. Many of the richest creeks are around the historic town of Barkerville, (near the town of Wells, about 65 km east of Quesnel, as the crow flies), and south to the town of Likely (about 55 km south of Barkerville). Folks claim that there was a time in the 1860s when Barkerville was the largest city west of Chicago and north of San Francisco.
